The Legacy Project is a civic environmental cultural and educational center that will serve the Rochester area as the home to two different non profit organizations. The 125,000 sq. ft. facility will have 3 wings connected with a share area providing access and service to each wing. The center will be a demonstration project for how institutional building must be built in the future; Collaboratively to benefit multiple entities effectively reusing a brown-field site in the heart of downtown Rochester, along a principal tributary of the Clinton water shed district, employ hundreds of citizens and educate young people about the significance of the environment in their life, the value of the arts and the importance of civic participation.
